A customer buys recreational licenses for the sole purpose of recreational hunting and fishing, and not for profit hunting and fishing. After the customer's information is in the system, you can select the license items they want to purchase from the Recreational Sales screen.
Only those licenses that a customer is eligible to purchase display in the Recreational Sales screen. If a customer is not eligible to purchase a license, for example, they have already purchased the maximum number allowed or have not completed required training, the item does not display. However, this feature can be overridden to sell licenses normally not available. For more information, see "Overriding Purchase Availability".
To Select Recreational License Items:
- Perform a search and locate the record for the customer purchasing licenses (see "Searching for a Customer Record"). The Customer Details screen appears (see Figure 10).
- Click Continue. The Recreational Sales screen appears, displaying recreational license items that are available for purchase by the customer for the current license year, as shown in Figure 26. If the customer has made past purchases in the last three license years that they are eligible to purchase again, an expedited checkout window will appear. This feature makes it easy to add to the Shopping Cart what the customer purchased in years past. For more information, see "Expedited Checkout".
