The Recreational Sales screens display all items that a customer is eligible to buy, based on information in the TPWD database about that customer. There may be times, however, when a customer wants to buy an item they normally are not eligible to purchase. To override the system and sell one of these items to a customer, you can use the purchase override feature. If you have a question about whether a license can be sold, please contact TPWD.
To Override Purchase Availability:
- Perform a search and locate the record for the customer purchasing licenses (see "Searching for a Customer Record"). The Customer Details screen appears.
- Click Recreational Sales. The Recreational Sales screen appears. Figure 47 is an example of the Recreational Sales screen.
