An agent can add a new clerk and assign application privileges to that clerk.
To Add a New Clerk:
- Click Administration in the Main Menu screen (see Figure 4). The Administration Menu screen appears, as shown in Figure 109.

- Click Clerk Maintenance. The Clerk Maintenance screen appears, as shown in Figure 110.

- Click Add Clerk. The Add New Clerk screen appears, as shown in Figure 111.

- In the fields provided, enter information about the clerk. Fields that display with an asterisk are mandatory and must be filled in.
The following table describes the fields in this window:
Field Description First Name Enter the clerk's first name. Last Name Enter the clerk's last name. User ID Enter a unique identifier that starts with a letter and contains alphanumeric characters. The user ID and password are used to log in to the LSA. - Select the Yes or No option to set the corresponding privileges.
Clerk privileges include:
Field Description View TPW Mail Clerk's privilege for viewing mail when log in. Order Stock Clerk's ordering privilege for stock items. (Not used) Order Inventory Clerk's ordering privilege for inventory items. (Not used) Review Account Notice Clerk's viewing privilege for Account Notice Reports. View/Print Shift Report Clerk's viewing and printing privileges for Shift Reports. View/Print Daily Sales Report Clerk's viewing and printing privileges for Daily Sales Reports. View/Print Outstanding Documents Clerk's viewing and printing privileges for Outstanding Documents Reports. - After entering all information, click Submit to add the new clerk.
- An info window will be displayed showing the clerk's temporary password (Figure 111A). As shown, the clerk will be prompted to change the password upon logging on.
