The following keyboard combinations can be helpful in some instances or can perform actions that lock the POS and cancel current tasks.
Helpful keyboard combinations are:
- When using the Thin Client, use CTRL & + (Control and Plus) to increase the font size on the screen.
- When using the Thin Client, use CTRL & - (Control and Minus) to decrease the font size on the screen.
- When using the Thin Client, use CTRL & 0 (Control and Zero) to reset the font size back to factory settings.
The keyboard combinations to avoid are:
- DO NOT use ALT & F4 (Alt and F4). This closes the License Sales Application (LSA) and the POS ID locks.
- DO NOT use ALT & Home (Alt and Home). This returns you to the Main Menu screen and POS ID locks.
- DO NOT use the Backspace key after entering a date to generate a report. The report closes and returns you to the Reports Menu screen.
- DO NOT use F5 while in the Main Menu screen after logging in. The POS ID locks.
